Car Crash Anne, Myself, Adam and Ashley were the victims of a serious car accident on 13th June 2007, Fortunately we all survived but Anne with back and neck injuries, Adam with stomach injuries, Ashley with no physical injuries but trauma and myself with serious injuries to my left leg +. Luckily it seems at this stage that Anne, Adam and Ashley should recover almost fully over the next 6 months. In regards to myself, although nothing is certain (I hope), it seems I may have permanent injury to my left leg/foot which may mean that I might not be able to skate again or worst case walk properly. I am at this time trying to stay positive as best as possible and trying to maintain good diabetes control which adds further possible problems. I would at this time wish to thank everyone for their wonderful support, cards, calls and emails and as you know I will fight as hard as I can to beat this. - What ever I will be at training to coach and/or supervise |
